Ski Races

Casper Nordic Club hosts several ski races per season. Middle schoolers, High schoolers and community skiers from all over Wyoming participate in these competitions. Setting up a race includes prepping the course, setting up start & finish lines, preparing bibs, timing racers, providing race course spotters, posting race results, and race tear down/clean up. It takes approximately 20 volunteers to successfully host a nordic ski race. As a member, you can find a spot to volunteer and enjoy watching one of the coolest winter sports in the world!

School races are held in conjunction with the Wyoming High School Activities Association, and follow the agreed upon schedule. Community races are organized with various partners. Headlamp races are arranged by our members and scheduled for a winter evening.
